Celebrity photographer Mike Colon, who resides in Southern California is a world-renowned wedding and lifestyle photographer with a resume that boasts household names like Usher, Jim Carrey, Mel Gibson, Grace Ormonde, and Louis Vuitton, with his work being featured in publications worldwide including the cover of People, US Weekly, Instyle, Popular Photography, Wedding Style and many Amherst Media and fine art photography books.
Thanks to Wedding Stylist/Coordinator, Samantha Jackson, shooting at Oak Hollow Farm can now be added to Mike’s resume. Mike who is the youngest photographer to ever receive Nikon’s “Legend Behind the Lens,” award enjoyed an overnight stay in one of our bunkrooms and spent the day hosting a workshop with local photographers who were eager to learn shooting techniques from the highly sought after speaker in the photography industry.
Currently a Lexar Elite Photographer, which is an exclusive sponsorship program with only twenty photographers worldwide selected, the workshop featured hands-on instruction by Mike with those in attendance having the photographs from that day published in various print and digital publications. Oak Hollow Farm was honored to have such talent visit our property and is pleased to know that our beautiful backdrop is being shared with so many.
